The La Verne Symphony Orchestra is pleased to host soprano Thalia Moore in Devotion and Desire: Theme and Variations on Love, a very special recital featuring pianist Austine Shu and guest artist Ayanna Lewis. Through music that is tender, passionate, playful, and profound, these artists will explore love in its many expressions. The program features works by Francis Poulenc, William Grant Still, Rosephanye Powell, H. Leslie Adams, Richard Strauss, Erik Satie, Ernest Chausson, Undine Smith Moore, H. T. Burleigh, and more! Come join us as we discuss love and the various forms it takes!
