About the La Verne Symphony Orchestra

The La Verne Symphony Orchestra is an exciting, dynamic group of musicians working together to enrich the cultural life of La Verne and the surrounding communities through outstanding orchestral performances, educational opportunities, artistic excellence, lifelong participation in music, and meaningful community engagement.

They cultivate dedication, focus, and a true knowledge of what it means to play music in an orchestra, with an emphasis on a firm foundation in music reading, rhythm, ensemble cohesiveness, and stylistic interpretation.

The La Verne Symphony Orchestra works to create an inspiring, cooperative, and life-long educational environment where community members and students come together to study and perform quality music written by composers from all over the world, fostering the spirit of understanding, discovery, and commitment for the enrichment of themselves and their audiences.

California incorporation paperwork has been filed and approved by the Secretary of State, and our IRS determination latter has been received!

We are inspired and excited about being an active and thriving  official non-profit organization in the La Verne community. (This means that donations to the La Verne Symphony Orchestra, Inc. are now tax deductible.)  Many thanks to the hard work of the board this summer for making this dream a reality.  It will serve to ensure the longevity of our wonderful organization.
