The La Verne Symphony Orchestra is a University of La Verne musical ensemble, established in collaboration with the La Verne community. Student, Faculty, Staff and Community musicians join together, bringing inspiring and uplifting music to our community.

LVSO Summer Workshop
We love to make music - so we do it in the summer too!
WORKSHOP WEEKEND - Sat. July 20 and Sunday July 21
This year, we're planning a great Summer Workshop Weekend, which will include a Sunday Showcase of LOTS of Music!
Workshop Weekend will include chamber orchestra, and smaller chamber music groups.
Open to all musicians.
This summer (2024) we're having great fun playing chamber music! Several groups are already playing great music together, and more are forming.
If you are already part of a chamber music group, and would like to join us for our Workshop Weekend, please get in touch by emailing Dr. Mann at lvsodirector@gmail.com (include info about your instrument, or your group, and your best contact info)
AND - We're looking forward to the Fall, when the full orchestra will be getting started again!
Join the Orchestra - Open to ULV Students, Faculty, Staff and community members! Musicians will begin rehearsals on Thursday August 22nd.
Become a part of the LVSO! We rehearse from 7 - 9pm on Thursday evenings. (LVSO is also a University of La Verne class. ULV students can and are STRONGLY encouraged to register for it to receive arts and ensemble credits. The class is MUS 119) Community members are also encouraged to register for the class - the community class number is MUS 019. (Contact the registrar or Dr. Mann for more info on community member registration)
Location: Morgan Auditorium on the University of La Verne Campus. 1950 W 3rd St. La Verne CA 91750. Morgan is located in Founders Hall. Use main steps in front, near 3rd and B St, or use the accessible entrance and elevator by entering at the SW corner of the brick building (Mainiero Hall), which connects to Founders....
